Summer Wildlife Experiences – June
In June, a series of wildlife experiences will take place across the moors (Allen Valley and Teesdale), designed primarily for those seeking to better understand and connect with the upland environment.
These sessions focus on quiet observation and education, allowing participants to experience the richness of the moors without disturbance to wildlife. All activities are carefully planned to ensure there is zero risk to breeding birds, with their welfare treated as the highest priority throughout.
Offered free of charge, these experiences form part of our wider aim to educate, engage, and provide transparency around the work carried out on the moors. By sharing knowledge and demonstrating best practice, we hope to highlight the positive outcomes that responsible land management can achieve.
A Commitment to Education and Conservation
Both initiatives reflect our commitment to supporting wildlife, safeguarding sensitive species, and engaging in open dialogue about upland management. Through these opportunities, we aim to demonstrate clearly how conservation and grouse moor management works hand in hand to produce thriving landscapes and resilient bird populations.
