That’s a wrap! #letslearnmoor 2023 is complete. We had nearly 300 students travel up to the fells and spend a day learning all about countryside life, what species live here and some of the important work carried out by our gamekeepers. Thank you to all involved!
The North Pennines Moorland Group used taxidermy to educate children about different species and the food chain on the moors, children also learned all about the fire service, the ecosystems of the uplands, upland farming and got to try some tasty game meat.
